Meet Bella
After the birth of her youngest daughter, our founder, KayLee Proctor, was no longer able to travel the country to sleep coach babies and toddlers like she used to but desperately missed being able to share this life-changing information with families. Miss Bella served as the inspiration KayLee was searching for to deliver a way for families to continue to benefit from her knowledge without necessarily needing to visit them in-person. By adding additional sleep coaches to the team and developing a remote sleep coaching program, KayLee proudly founded Bella Notte Sleep Support.
Through 20+ years of childcare experience and parenting her own 4 children, KayLee has seen the drastic difference good sleep makes for exhausted little ones and their sleep-deprived parents. She has sleep coached her children using various methods over the last 11 years and has found what works and what doesn’t (for singletons and multiples).
KayLee understands the fear of judgement that comes along with making the decision to sleep train your child and that everyone must do what works best for them. However, she knows from first hand experience that her bond with each of her children deepened when everyone was well-rested and able to engage positively with one another. Yours can too!
Our Process
Falling asleep independently is a skill that is learned somewhere along the way to becoming a more autonomous being. We approach this process knowing that each family and child is unique. While most kids go through the same phases of development, they each accomplish new skills in their own time and in their own ways. We can’t rush it, but we can aid the process by giving them the right tools and environment in order for them to assert their independence and show us what they need.
While there isn’t a one size fits all approach, there is a foundation of sleep science we build on while embracing the needs of each family. By observing your child’s behaviors and body language, we can decipher their cues, meet their needs, and give appropriate advice without stifling the learning process.
Our methods to guide children through this learning curve vary dependent on age, development level, family routine, and parental preference. However, consistency is KEY for any child we work with. Rest assured we’ll be here to support and guide you through this process so you can maintain progress long-term. You can trust that we have your entire family’s best interest at heart and you’ll see an improvement within a few days of implementing our recommendations.
